Holy Toledo Gravel Challenge

March 2nd brings you a new and luxurious day of racing on the smooth charming roads of Kisatchie National Forest!

  • For the hardy among you, there's the 100 mile option,
  • for the slightly less ambitious is the 50 mile route,
  • and for the peeps just looking for a nice stretch of the legs to go with the JAMBALAYA FEAST, there's the 25 miler.

Races feature a staggered start time, all distances finish at roughly the same time, so the 25 mile pigs don't eat all the jambalaya and drink all the beer.

Gravel bikes, MTB bikes, Fat bikes, anything you're willing to try!!

USA Cycling license is NOT required, although we're permitted & insured through them.

All proceeds go to support the CenLa Stars Jr. Cycling Team.

.GPX files are below, sorry but they're on BikeMaps.  I'm a Luddite.

Register by Feb. 20th to ensure you get a Holy T shirt that actually fits!!

For those not familiar with the ass-end of nowhere, the Holy T Gravel Challenge starts/finishes in scenic Kurthwood, LA, 14 miles North of Leesville on Hwy 117 (not Hwy 171, that's a real road).

The course is 90+% gravel/dirt/mud National Forest roads, some are awesome, some are awful.  The 100 mile course is subject to change slightly, as really wet weather might make lakes on the roads.

The closest good camping is 11 miles north at Dogwood Camp, at the corner of Hwy 117 and Long Leaf Vista Trail (on the race course), and the closest hotels are in Leesville, we're trying to get special rates at the Best Western, 14 miles South of Start/Finish.

Stay tuned.
