About us

Our Mission

We started CenLa Stars to give kids in Central Louisiana a healthy athletic outlet and to start & nurture a life-long love of cycling.

We want to teach sportsmanship, teamwork, safety & self-discipline, things that will build confidence in maturing young men & women.

Who We Are

My name is Bobo Anderson, I founded the CenLa Stars to share my love for cycling with my children & others.

My daughter Calla, 13, started racing in 2018, winning the La/Ms District Junior Girls championships in the Road Race, Criterium, Time Trial & Cyclocross.  Her wins were partly because she's a good cyclist, and partly because there aren't many Juniors cycling in our La/Ms area.  We want to change that.

I raced as a Professional Triathlete for most of the '90's, specializing in the Ironman distance.  I've ridden probably close to 100,000 miles on a bicycle of one sort or another in my life, and I have extensive knowledge of endurance training.
